Is filthy fifty one of everyone’s favourite wods?  I know it’s in my top 10 for sure!  Not sure what it is about it.  The chipper style everyone likes.  the fact that you don’t have to revisit the movement once you have completed it…  It’s just FUN!

For time:

50 Box jump, 24 inch box

50 Jumping pull-ups

50 Kettlebell swings, 1 pood

Walking Lunge, 50 steps

50 Knees to elbows

50 Push press, 45 pounds

50 Back extensions

50 Wall ball shots, 20 pound ball

50 Burpees

50 Double unders

    Congratulations to everyone today for finishing this punishing workout! I was cursing Tavia & Darryl for pushing the pace so hard. The next WOD will be a walk-in-the-park after this!

  2. Glen and Tavia, you are machines!! I beat my previous time by 4 mins and still didn’t catch you! I’m getting better at d.u.’s but still took me 4 mins to do 50. Definetely my kryptonite. Work hard fri pm groups!

    Rob – that was a tough call on the wall balls but I think I can speak for Darryl and I that we’re glad you made the brave call to do what you did. I can only imagine the looks on our faces!

  4. Hahahaha. I was pretty damn pissed at myself. I think I would have beaten myself up given the opportunity! But you guys were troopers and powered through for massive PR’s!

  5. Ok I pr’d at 27:47 but I suck at du’s! I finished the bur pees @20mins and it took me the rest of the time to skip!! Good god I need some coaching. How do you guys do them so fast!

  8. Wow, no comments since January! Great job by the noon crew, Christine, Nadia, Denise and Jean. First time for Nadia and Christine and all did great…all on the verge of puking that is….way to go for pushing it! Pr’s to Denise, Christine and Nadia…Jean still slightly injured.
    As for me….du’s getting much better so new Pr… 25:42

  9. Great job by the 6 am crew. It was nice having Erika there to get me motivated… But she ripped through the workout at Glen Young speed. I could even hope to come close to keeping up. Struggled with the wall ball (Rx for the first time 🙂 And of course the burpees ). Thanks for the Encouragement Glen, Erika, Jean and Brock to keep going. PB for me.

  10. I love that Filthy feeling first thing in the morning. The box jumps and jumping pullups are just a tease don’tcha know. The KB swings get that heart going real good followed by this and that and whatever. Best feeling of the day though when you finish…for me today 38:50 for the forward Filthy 50 which is a minute plus better than I did it backwards only 6 weeks ago. Great job by Sarah and Megan as they crushed this morning. Watch your backs Glen and Erika I’m only a 15 minute coffee break behind you!
