A woman who transformed her body after experiencing pre-diabetic symptoms has revealed just how she shed an incredible 126 lbs.
Frances Carpenter, 28, a software support engineer from Riverside, California, had ballooned to around 260 lbs by the time she graduated from high school, having long indulged on junk food as a way to deal with difficult times throughout her childhood.
‘The way I grew up, my childhood was not the easiest; being raised by a single parent. Never having a father-figure around I think contributed to most of my weight gain,’ she said.
A big change: Frances Carpenter, 28, from Riverside, California, dropped more than 120 lbs after experiencing the symptoms of pre-diabetes
Moving on: The software support engineer was tipping the scales at 331 lbs before starting to lose the weight
‘When I was younger, my mother never told me “no”, I think mostly out of guilt, she felt bad for our upbringing and food made me happy.’
But after graduating and eventually moving to a different state, the weight just continued to pile on until she found herself, seven years later, tipping the scales at 331 lbs.
But then, she started experiencing the symptoms of pre-diabetes, such as fatigue, blurred vision and frequent urination.
Realizing she was on the fast track to such a serious health condition shocked Frances into changing her life.
