Importance of Lsits:

  • Hip Flexor engagement and strength
  • Abdominal strength
  • Grip strength – if hanging on bars
  • Shoulder/lat strength and Shoulder Depression/stability if on Parallel bars/rings
  • It will ready you for Handstands and press to handstands which requires a tremendous amount of Abdominal strength and control.

Practice these at least once a week!  Are you struggling with lifting your legs up?  It could be hamstring flexibility as well, so get stretching!
