Our Program Focus
- Metabolic Conditioning: Build the stamina required for endurance events with high-intensity intervals and steady-state work that condition all three energy systems—vital for success in HYROX and similar events.
- Functional Strength: Train the core lifts and movement patterns needed to handle sled pushes, wall balls, carries, and other HYROX-tested challenges—while also developing well-rounded, lifelong strength.
- Performance Skills: Our workouts frequently include running, rowing, and functional movements you’ll encounter in competitive events, seamlessly integrated into your weekly training for better preparedness.
- Beyond One Race: HYROX is one goal—we help you build total fitness that prepares you for multiple challenges, both in and outside of competition.

I was looking for some change in my workout routines and have tried other gyms and programs. I joined CrossFit Pickering a few months ago and have been loving it since. The classes are challenging, but are modifiable to each individual’s needs/goals and I have yet to have the same workout twice. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a new challenge for their fitness goals - whatever that might be.

Exactly 1 year today, February 1st at this time since I joined CrossFit Pickering! Great environment, truly a family atmosphere, caring Coaches, their effort made to ensure my movements are correct, knowledgeable and supportive if I needed to modified my WOD. Athletes are truly amazing and friendly. I have been to a lot of places but CrossFit Pickering is the best!
